iSelect Consultancy is upskilling the workforce in transport, planning and engineering sectors. The consultancy has established national reputation by delivering high quality training courses, workshops and seminars among workforces of local authorities, government bodies, private businesses, law, and property firms.

The founder and managing director of the consultancy is Zeenara Najam, a chartered transport planner, a civil engineer and a senior transport industry leader with a wide range of experience gained through working in both public and private sectors in the UK and abroad including the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UN-ESCAP).

Zeenara has managed and delivered £500m+ capital programmes including regional and national significance of transport infrastructure and development planning projects. She has produced and reviewed transport strategy and policy documents, local development frameworks, transport assessments and secured infrastructure investment funding for local government through producing successful 5 model business cases. She has led Tour de France project as a business case writer, the first ever business case prepared for a mega sporting event in the UK. She has been a champion in stakeholders, communities and political members engagement, consultation and collaboration throughout her career.

She has led PTRC as head of technical development at the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT). She was the youngest appointed executive member on the CILT board to lead PTRC. She has served as a committee member to the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation (CIHT)’s East Anglia and East Midland branches.

She is a member of the business advisory board on Kent and Medway Economic Partnership (KMEP) - which aims to drive forward economic growth and levelling up throughout the region. Zeenara is also a PRINCE2 practitioner and a peer reviewer of US Transportation Research Board (TRB).
